Community Members Solving Problems and Promoting Good Food Policies

The best way to learn more and get involved in the Council is by attending a meeting.               Bi-monthly member meetings are a terrific opportunity to connect with other people, agencies and organizations in Tarrant County who are working to improve our food system. Member meetings include guest speakers, updates from board and working group leaders and after-meeting networking time.

Working Group meetings are also open to the public, but are more focused on addressing a community issue or supporting a specific initiative within our local food system.

Get Involved

Ready to take action? Becoming a member is easy and rewarding. By joining the Council and participating in a Working Group or on a special committee, your time can make a difference in our community. The Council offers both individual and organizational membership levels.

We encourage individual members to commit to an area of service that most interests them as a community member. Organizational members are encouraged to find a role that best aligns with their skill set or areas of responsibility at their place of employment.

As a newly formed non-profit, a little seed money goes a long way. We've accomplished a lot in our first few years on a shoe-string budget, but we could do so much more with your financial help.

Your support in the form of a donation will help us not only continue to bring people together to work toward meaningful food system change, but expand our efforts.

If you'd like to give, please email us so we can follow up with you directly.
